Hastelloy Tubes have a typical composition of nickel (56–60%), chromium (15–22%), molybdenum (13–17%), iron, tungsten, and cobalt. They are known to exhibit excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chemical attack. Their mechanical properties are tensile strength of 690 MPa, yield strength of 283 MPa, and elongation of 40–45%. The tube has good performance over a vast temperature range and aggressive media.
