Monel Sheets and Plates contain mostly around 63% nickel and 28% copper, along with small amounts of iron, manganese, silicon, and carbon. Its special composition makes it highly resistant to seawater, acid conditions, and alkaline solutions. Its mechanical properties include high tensile strength, excellent durability, and great toughness over a broad range of temperatures. Monel also shows excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and pitting with good weldability and formability.
