Titanium Grade 5 Flanges (Ti-6Al-4V) consist of about 90% titanium, 6% aluminum, and 4% vanadium. The alloy offers a unique combination of high strength, toughness, and light weight. They have tensile strength of around 895 MPa, yield strength of 828 MPa, and elongation of 10%, thus maintaining a stable performance under tension. With high weldability, a higher strength-to-weight ratio, and high resistance to seawater, oxidation, and harsh chemicals, these flanges are customized for harsh operating conditions.
