Titanium Grade 5 Nuts (Ti-6Al-4V) consist of 90% titanium, 5.5–6.75% aluminum, and 3.5–4.5% vanadium. This alloy is famous for its outstanding combination of high strength, light structure, and improved corrosion resistance. Being tensile strength up to 140 ksi (965 MPa) and having outstanding fatigue resistance, these nuts are stable at higher temperatures up to 400°C.
