Chanathip Nickel Alloys & Plates in Bangkok, Thailand, makes high-quality ENiCrFe-3 class coated electrodes for demanding industrial welding tasks. We produce our electrodes under strict quality control, using pure raw materials, modern coating methods, and effective drying processes. We supply ENiCrFe-3 electrodes within Thailand and for export, especially to the petrochemical, marine, power generation, and cryogenic industries. These electrodes provide consistent weld metal chemistry and mechanical properties that meet AWS/SFA A5.11 standards. With excellent arc stability and resistance to corrosion, they are suitable for welding dissimilar metals, shipbuilding, and repairs, making them essential to our product range.
ENiCrFe-3 weld deposits generally contain about 55-65% nickel, 12-20% chromium, and 8-22% iron, along with small amounts of manganese, silicon, titanium, and very low levels of carbon, phosphorus, and sulfur. The tensile strength is around 600-700 MPa, elongation is about 30-40%, and there is excellent low-temperature toughness (some variants are tested down to -196°C). The weld metal offers good yield strength, ductility, and resistance to oxidation and corrosion in both reducing and oxidizing environments. The electrode coating ensures good slag removal, stable arc, and minimal spatter.

ENiCrFe-3 coated electrodes are used for welding nickel-chromium-iron alloys to each other or to different metals. They are perfect for situations that require both corrosion and temperature resistance, such as in chemical plants, reformer tubes, furnace equipment, and petrochemical reactors. They are also commonly used in cryogenic structures (e.g., 5% and 9% Ni steels) and for cladding steels to protect against corrosion. The marine, offshore, ship-hull, and seawater stressed components also utilize ENiCrFe-3. Additionally, they are employed for fabrication and repair of nickel-base alloys, including joining stainless and nickel steel in challenging environments.
