Chanathip Nickel Alloys & Plates in Bangkok manufactures pure nickel class ERNi-1 MIG/TIG filler wires and rods, developed for joining commercially pure nickel materials and similar alloys. Our products comply with AWS A5.14 / ASME SFA-5.14 standards, using high purity nickel and stabilizing additions. They are available in various diameters and lengths, featuring excellent surface finish, packaging, and traceability. These items are used in applications requiring high corrosion resistance in neutral or alkaline settings, caustic exposure, and for welding nickel 200/201. We serve industries such as chemical, marine, food processing, and specialty manufacturing both locally and internationally.
ERNi-1 weld metal is high in nickel content, typically over 93% Ni, with titanium added (around 2-3.5%) to control porosity, small amounts of iron (up to 1%), manganese (up to 1%), silicon, aluminum, and trace carbon (up to 0.15%). It has a tensile strength between 380-460 MPa, elongation around 25-30%, good ductility, and excellent corrosion resistance in alkalis, along with high thermal and electrical conductivity. The welds are clean and sound, with minimal impurities and perform well in dissimilar material joints.
