Super Duplex Steel S32760 Plates and Sheets have a dual-phase microstructure balanced between austenite and ferrite, which is chromium (24–26%), molybdenum (3–4%), tungsten, and nitrogen-enriched. This superior composition offers better resistance to chloride corrosion and aggressive surroundings. S32760 is mechanically strong in tensile and yield strength, has excellent impact toughness—including at sub-zero temperatures—and good fatigue and erosion resistance. It also has good weldability and high resistance to oxidation at high temperatures.
