Monel Manifold Valves consist of a nickel-copper alloy with about 63–70% nickel and 28–34% copper, together with traces of iron, manganese, and silicon. The alloy provides excellent resistance to seawater, acids, alkalis, and oxidizing substances. The valves exhibit great tensile strength, toughness, and ductility under a broad range of temperatures. Their high sealing capacity minimizes leakage risk, with stress corrosion cracking and pitting resistance providing for toughness in demanding applications.
