Chanathip Nickel Alloys, one of Thailand’s most recognized Bangkok-based manufacturers and suppliers, deals in supplying high-performance materials for demanding industrial use. Of our extensive product range, Titanium Grade 3 Pipes are particularly notable for their higher corrosion resistance, hardness, and toughness. Withstanding rigorous conditions, these pipes are generally used in chemical processing, marine, aerospace, and power generation sectors. With great weldability, formability, and structural integrity, Titanium Gr 3 Pipes provide long service life even in extreme conditions. We follow stringent quality standards at Chanathip Nickel Alloys, and every product fits well into delivering superior value and world-class consistency in performance.
Composition & Mechanical Properties (90 Words)
Titanium Grade 3 Tubes (UNS R50550 / DIN 3.7055) contain 90–94% of titanium, strengthened by 6.0–7.0% of aluminum and 3.5–4.5% of vanadium, offering a consistent strength and corrosion resistance balance. They offer great resistance to oxidizing and reducing environments, ideal for aggressive chemical and marine atmospheres. Mechanical characteristics encompass tensile strength of approximately 460 MPa, yield strength of 275 MPa, and elongation of 20%, which ensure strength in stress. It has a density of 4.48 g/cm³, making Titanium Grade 3 Pipes weigh-efficient coupled with enhanced mechanical stability for demanding uses.
